– 1 Trip in preparation for a wedding in Australia in March 2015.
2014 was a busy year. I decided to celebrate the New Year in Melbourne. As I love travelling, I went on a roadtrip to Tasmania with a former work colleague (met in Laos, yes, before being a photographer, I had another job). It was an opportunity for me to photograph extraordinary landscapes. From there, I flew to Burma to discover it’s many splendours. I had the chance to meet a local who invited me to his cousin’s wedding, a wonderful opportunity to discover their way of celebrating a wedding. Then, in the same place my lucky star brought me to a photo laboratory where I met two local professional wedding photographers. Thus, I found myself invited to go with them to photograph a traditional Buddhist wedding. I have kept in touch with my Burmese colleagues and I look forward to seeing them again one day.
April, back in France to start the wedding season. I had the chance to photograph unique weddings, marriages with amazing themes. Some of them made me travel to photograph their wedding, and as a keen traveller I was delighted to discover new regions of France. This year, I tried to gain in creativity and get out of my comfort zone.
I was so often warmly welcomed to these weddings and had a great time with my bride and groom, who were always concerned about my well-being. I feel very grateful for this kindness as I invest a lot of energy and soul in to my work.
2015 looks just as magical as 2014, beautiful weddings are already planned. Will start this new wedding season with a wedding in Perth, Australia. Once again, thanks to you all, you were amazing, you made me a happy photographer!
