When Strasbourg becomes an endless playground
Some sessions stay with you. Not necessarily because everything went perfectly but because something happened. An unexpected beam of light. A pink wall you'd never noticed before. A shadow cutting across the scene like a painting.
That's exactly what I love to chase in every portrait shoot in Strasbourg : those places you walk past without really seeing them, that suddenly become extraordinary when the light hits them just right.
In this session, we explored the city in every direction. Warm-toned walls, reflections, sharp shadows, raw and direct natural light. A colourful outfit in conversation with the surroundings. A real universe, built together, frame by frame.
Creative outdoor portraits : playing with natural light in Strasbourg
What fascinates me about natural light in the city is that it never does the same thing twice. An hour earlier, that wall was nothing. But at that precise moment, it becomes an open-air studio backdrop.
Real light — sunlight, reflections, cast shadows — gives a depth and a life that nothing can replicate. And Strasbourg, with its architecture blending old and contemporary, its hidden courtyards and colourful facades, is a city that lends itself beautifully to this kind of play.

What I want for every session is to build something that looks like you. Not reproduce an Instagram trend. Not follow a formula.
We think together before the shoot; your colours, your energy, what you love, what you want to hold onto from this moment in your life. And then we go explore. We walk, we search, we test angles, we play with the light. The best photos always come from those moments : unpredictable, alive, real.
